On 9th July 2011 the world
welcomed South Sudan as an independent nation into the
world community. South and North Sudan had been at war
for decades inflicting heavy casualties and destroying
infrastructure. With the birth of a new nation, comes
fresh hope for a better future.
This website is not affiliated in
any way with the new nation, however hopes to make the
challenges it faces open to a wider audience.
Particularly challenges affecting South Sudan's child
